Trojan News

11/13/16

The Trojan Marching Band and Colorguard earned a score of 72.35 on Saturday at El Modena High School in Orange, CA. This score qualifies them and 13 other bands in the 2A division to advance to the California State Band Championships – Division Finals to be held at Westminster High School on Saturday, November 19.

The Trojan Drum Line scored an 81.5, beating all of the competing drum lines in 1A and 2A (34 in all), to win the High Percussion Award. This is their 6th consecutive High Percussion Award of the season.

The Band and Colorguard will present their annual "Finals Send Off" performance on Friday evening, November 18 in Trojan Stadium. The event is free and open to the public. Please come out and support the students who have worked so hard to get to Division Finals.

STUDENTS

GATE students who are going on the McCallum Theatre field trip Monday, go to the bus immediately after 2nd period. Those of you who signed up, but never turned in your permission slip, are not permitted to sign up for the next trip.

Attention Football players, the year-end banquet will be held this Monday, December 12, at 5:45 pm in the MPR.

Attention new and returning Swimmers, there will be a mandatory meeting today in F-8 at lunch. 

Senior Scholarship Portfolios are due Wednesday, December 14th. Mrs. DeRouen is available in the Career Center on Monday and Wednesday to assist you with your portfolio.  After Winter Break, Mrs. DeRouen will be available on Mondays and by appointment.
