New Student Information System

Morongo Unified School District changed to a new Student Information System this year.  A Portal for student access has recently opened for students to view their grades, take online assessments, and view attendance.  The Student Portal can be found at https://musd.illuminatehc.com/auth#tabs-student.  We are currently asking the parents to work with their children through the Student Portal until the Parent Portal becomes operational.

Share your acceptances, win a prize!  HERE'S HOW --

  • Email or bring your letter(s) of acceptance to the Counseling Office.
  • You'll get a prize drawing ticket for each acceptance.
  • Fill out a ticket for each college, trade/technical school, or military branch that offers you admission or enlistment.
  • Enjoy a mini-prize for sharing your success.
  • At the end of February, March and April, we'll draw tickets from that month's acceptance for prizes.
  • Accept ONE Offer of Admission (Statement of Intent to Register, Commitment to Enlist, etc.)
  • Bring your Statement of Commitment to the Counseling Office.
  • Fill out a ticket for the Grand Prize drawing.

Late buses are now available for Tuesday/Thursday tutoring.  If you are participating in Pre-Calculus, Calculus, or Statistics tutoring, you must have your own transportation.

We are on a Block schedule today:  periods 1, 2 and 3.  Tomorrow is a Block schedule:  periods 4, 5 and 6.

 

STUDENTS:

 

If you have had an electronic device, ear buds, hat or other clothing items confiscated this year, and have yet to pick it up, please see Ms. Mangan after school.  You must have your ID to pick-up electronic devices.  All electronic devices/ear buds/hats/clothing not picked up by June 10th will be donated to charity.  A $10 fee will be put on your account in ASB for any loaner clothing that has not been returned.

Please pick up your scholarship folders from Mrs. Thompson.

All those interested in running Cross Country next year please come to an informational meeting at lunch in F-3 today.

The Yucca Valley High School Theatre Company is proud to present the award-winning “Legally Blonde the Musical”.  It is showing  Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 6 pm.  There is also a special matinee performance at 1 pm on the 30th.  The cost is $5 for adults, $4 for students, and FREE for children under 12.  Come see the largest production of the year!

Permission Slips for the Copper Mountain College field trip are due tomorrow to the Counseling Office.

Are you interested in a career with computers?  Stop by the Career Center to sign up for a presentation on what computer programs Copper Mountain College is offering.

Do you like working on Cars?  Have you thought of becoming a mechanic?  UTI will be here May 29 to give a presentation.  Sign up in the Career Center.

Students who fail Core classes are required to make up the classes in Summer School.  Summer School runs for 2 3-week sessions beginning June 22.  Turn in your competed applications in the Counseling Office now!

STUDENT MEETINGS:

Art Club meets in C-3 @ 2 pm.  Must have own transportation!

AVID meets in V-2 @ lunch.

True Colors Support Group meets in V-2 @ 2 pm.  Must have own transportation!

Lunchtime tutoring meets in G-4.

 

TESTING SCHEDULE:  School begins at 7:11 am.  Lunch will be at 11:19 am.  School gets out at 1:53 as usual.
